Let's Get the Truth

The Attorney General has announced that he was appointing a special prosecutor to investigate torture of 'terrorists' under the Bush Administration:

While this is a major step forward, more needs done. The Attorney General is selectively investigating torture in a limited number of cases and only examining the actions of low-level interrogators. This violates the Convention Against Torture. The Attorney General knows this international treaty requires all acts of torture be investigated and all those involved be held accountable, by prosecution.

Keep the pressure on! Ask your policy makers for a full investigation.

Hold Bush Administration policy makers and White House lawyers who facilitated and approved outright torture of 'terrorist' detainees accountable!

Take action by writing the Attorney General, urging him to investigate everyone involved in torture. Investigating a handful of low-level interrogators from the CIA is insufficient when thousands have been tortured at the bequest of others higher up in the Bush Administration:
