Renew the Offshore Drilling Ban!
The ongoing oil spill tragedy, created by the negligence of British Petroleum (it could have been any major oil company) in the Gulf of Mexico makes it clear that industry cannot and chooses not to prevent environmental disaster. In BP world, it interferes with outrageously exhorbitant short term profits.
Don't you love unabated capitalism, America?
These self serving international corporations do not and have never have had the interests of the American people or the planet in mind!
Wake UP!!!
Tell President Obama to watch this and do something about it, damn it:
